UNHCR-NCHR-NGOs Network launched to record racist incidents

The UN High Commissioner for Refugees in Greece (UNHCR), the National Commission for Human Rights and a number of civil society and nongovernmental organizations, including i-RED which contributed in design and setup, have joined forces to form a network to record incidents of racist violence.
The pilot program is aimed at systematically recording racially motivated attacks as reported to organisation providing support, assistance and medical care.
It will run until the end of the year and the organizers will present their conclusions at the beginning of next year, when they will make proposals about how to tackle the problem.
